About Us

The vision for Del Rosa Elementary School is that college begins in kindergarten. All Del Rosa students will be prepared for college after graduating from high school. Del Rosa Elementary School is a professional learning community. Parents are our partners in education through our active parent advisory groups: Parent Teacher Association, School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee, and African American Parent Advisory Council. Del Rosa offers daily reading intervention during the school day. READ 180, System 44, and other interventions are offered for struggling readers. The Learning Center focuses on reading fluency through AIMS Web and DIBELS progress monitoring tools.
